Types of Roofing Materials

Owens Corning Asphalt Shingles

If you are looking for variety, asphalt shingles may be the perfect roofing material for your home or business. We also offer the Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing System. This roofing material is a popular choice among San Diego Homeowners, apartment complexes, HOAs, and commercial property owners because of the numerous design and color choices. Asphalt shingles are “green” and can be recycled during a roofing replacement or repair. If you need help upgrading your shingle warranty from 10 years to 50 years, we can assist you with that as well. This warranty is not prorated and is fully transferable.

Boral Concrete Tile

Boral roofing materials offered
Known for its aesthetic appeal, this concrete tile is manufactured by boral and is yet another popular roofing material option for San Diego County residential and commercial property owners. Slate and shake concrete tiles are highly insulated and come in a variety of different reflective colors that lessen the penetration from the sun’s heat.

Similar to Owens Corning Asphalt Shingles, boral concrete tile is also “green” and 100% recyclable. Concrete tile is viewed as an affordable, long-lasting roofing material that requires very little maintenance. Additionally, concrete tile can remove smog and prevent mold and algae growth on your commercial or residential roof.

Concrete tile’s ability to naturally ventilate the air space between your roof and deck is perhaps one of the biggest selling points for San Diego County residents. The tiles typically reduce the amount of work for your air conditioner, which leads to lower energy bills and more money in your pocket.

Boral Clay Tile

Also manufactured by Boral, this type of tile is durable, fire-resistant, and offers one of the biggest bangs for your buck. Boral tile comes in 1-piece or 2-piece slabs in an assortment of different colors that can be customized by shape, style, and color. From mission style barrel tiles to flat tiles, we offer the widest selection of boral clay tiles in the San Diego area. Similar to boral concrete tile and Owens Corning Asphalt Shingles, boral clay tile is also 100% recyclable and eco-friendly.
